CEO and Founder of Clear Cut

Hello! My name is Georgina and I go by she/her pronouns! I am the founder and CEO of Clear Cut, based in Toronto, Ontario. I specialize in creating designs for the everyday dreamer ₊˚⊹♡ ⋆

My product lineup includes custom-designed apparel, enamel pins, and art prints featuring AR (Augmented Reality) technology.

I am a versatile artist skilled in interaction design, digital illustration, comics, and 3D art. I hold a Master’s degree in Digital Futures (MDes) from OCADU.

I LOVE cute things, bubble tea, and anything with potatoes in it (except sweet potatoes and potato salad). 

My Story:

When I first started Clear Cut in 2023 it was during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I was let go for the first time, I experienced two family deaths, my mental health took a toll for the worst and for the first time ever, I was feeling scared of what was in store for my future.

The only thing I knew what I could do was to create and I really like creating transparent/ star/space theme-liked art because in a weird way, these types of styles made me feel safe. I liked designing things that made me feel cozy and warm from the stress of life even now as an adult.

That’s why I created Clear Cut, I wanted to invoke that same feeling with others through my designs. Why apparel? I guess because as my designs made me feel like I was getting a hug, I wanted people to feel like they were a getting a “hey, it’s gonna be okay and you're safe!” kind of vibe through my apparel.

My tagline for Clear Cut goes as 'designs for the everyday dreamer' because I know we all have dreams we all want to make come true and even if they are just dreams, they make us want to keep pushing forward in life until we achieve them. That’s my favourite part of the human spirit and I wanted to truly express that in my work.
